Welcome to Room 310!

Our room is a very busy place. It's the headquarters for HOPE, Game Club, and Wind Chill Club. Most of the students are settled in nicely by this point in the year. We spent all of Sept. and much of Oct. focusing on the positive learning behaviors necessary for success. Unfortunately several per class are still struggling to use positive learning behaviors or personal management skills. These include arriving on time, bringing all necessary supplies, using class time productively, participating during class, completing assignments on time and with required detail, and
working independently. Our other two areas of focus are using the reading comprehension strategies, taught in class, to improve comprehension and to use their critical thinking skills independently.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions/concerns.  kfuerst@pembinatrails.ca or through REMIND
